Marisela was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and from a young age, she exhibited a powerful desire to create and express herself as an artist. Her passion has led her to participate in recordings, serve as a master of ceremonies, compete in TV competitions, perform at festivals, and design jewelry, among other pursuits. After signing with a record label at a young age, Marisela made her entrance into the professional music world. She embodies humility, tenacity, and virtue, which has allowed her to share her talent alongside renowned artists. After a long journey, her artistic maturity now shines through with her project, Su Son Karibe. Marisela's popularity and the appreciation of her audience have rightfully earned her numerous awards and recognitions. Some highlights include being named Feminine Artist of 2016, receiving the VIII Tribute to the Hispanic Woman in Houston, participating in the Venezuelan Festival in Katy, being nominated as a 2020 Latina of Influence, and nominated as the Best Singer in Katy 2019 by The Best Time in Katy Magazine. Additionally, she hosts an online TV show called "Perfiles con Marisela."
